This one was cooking for a while 🫠 We are really happy to show this projects after three years of development. «Power, Flows, and Transformation» is a book about energy landscapes, infrastructures and their environmental and social implications in the Berlin/Brandenburg region.
On 352 pages the book features detailed maps, architectural drawings [by
@yuliyanavatskaya and
@unsantiamen ], and vibrant photography by Bui Luu Quynh Nguyen [
@qlb.x ] – we’ll show in the next post.
Through five key energy carriers — coal, oil, gas, solar, and wind — the book offers both a material understanding of current systems and predictions about how future transformation might unfold across the region’s territory.
Thanks for the ride to the editorial team [
@pft_book @berlinbrandenburg2040 ]: David Bauer, Santiago Martínez Murillo, Philipp Misselwitz, Yuliya Navatskaya, Joseph Smithard
