Taking it back to last year, when I was invited to paint a monogram for @zupansmarkets . Grateful to the team at Zupan’s Market for the opportunity.

How did 11 years go by so quickly? It was time for a fresh paint job- so we found a member of community who paints signs and he made us a brand new sign for our front garden!
We are so proud to be a staple in our community and want to make sure we show it.
Our last sign had seen some years, but in the time we are humbled to have received numerous letters, reviews, cards, and even reddit recommendations that have filled out hearts to the brim.
No matter how long it's been, we are still here- weathering every storm to bring you intention, care, and a curated craft selection of plant magic that is accessible to people in every income bracket.
Our new sign is a symbol to that ongoing commitment. Shout out to @hisrollinghighness - our awesome sign maker! Thank you for spiffing us up for the next leg of our journey. Here is to another decade!
Here are some shots of our sign through the last decade but first and foremost- we wanted you to see the new sign 🥰

Sharing an apple with a friend after volunteering at Out to Pasture back in 2008.
I always knew this path was for life, so somewhere along the way I stopped counting the years. But this photo reminded me that this year marks 18 years of living a cruelty-free, plant-based lifestyle — vegetarian since 2003.
Wanting to share gratitude to all the vegans and animal advocates who continue to take action and inspire change. 💚
Recent signage I created for Steeplejack on Hawthorne, designed to highlight the variety of offerings from Steeplejack’s full bar and Harder Day’s coffee to the pastries from Musette.
This location also features several food carts on the patio, adding to the community atmosphere.
Many thanks to the homies @welldonesigns and @cuteboogers for their help with the patterns.

Team building mural project with Murmur Creative!
This was such an awesome project and super fun to be a part of. Thank you @murmurcreative for including me!
This particular mural was created as a team-building activity, where each member of the Murmur team had the opportunity to paint a portion of the design regardless of skill level collaboratively bringing the entire piece to life. Afterward, I came in to clean up the lines, preserving as much of the original work as possible so everyone could see the parts they actually painted.
Team-building projects are especially cool because they enhance collaboration, communication, and trust within a group, improving their ability to work together.
If you’re planning a social event, private party, or team-building project and want a hands-on experience, feel free to DM or email for details. Contact info is in the bio.

Silence is not an option. We must stand together and let our voices be heard even when they’re tired.
If you’re in Portland and have a privately owned wall, fence, building, or structure which can be seen by all members of our community that I can paint this and other statements and designs on, please DM me.
These painted pieces will be donated to you, I only ask that you pay it forward to our community when you can.

Say hello to Casa Madera on NE Prescott & 15th! (Formally El Indio De Oro)
I absolutely love the hardworking team at Casa Madera. They embrace their community with love, acceptance, and generosity to all that enter the restaurant.
Thank you, Carlos and Josie for the continued business and choosing me to paint your updated storefront. Grateful to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the journey to such amazing humans, yet again.
Next time you feel like Mexican food, with amazing service that’s friendly, go see my friends at Casa Madera.

If you’ve been to either of our SE Portland shops over the past few months, you may have noticed that our buildings have received a much-needed makeover—including two new murals painted by local artist, @hisrollinghighness (based on a design from our good friends at @murmurcreative ).
We asked Parker what he enjoys most about being a muralist, and his response was just as wonderful as his work, “When I do a mural or sign, I feel like I’m leaving a gift for the neighborhood to enjoy after I’m gone.”
It’s been several weeks since he wrapped up at the shop and he couldn’t have been more spot on!
