If a post-holiday holiday is in order, we know just the place. There are fewer places to find peace and quiet than the beach in wintertime, and Elements by Dutchen – a new stay on the island of Terschelling – ends the search. The hotel, at home in the undulating dunes of the beach at Formerum aan Zee, offers guests 16 hotel rooms and suites, 25 luxury apartments, a restaurant led by Richard van Oostenbrugge and Thomas Groot of Group 212, and a wellness programme developed in partnership with luxury brand The|Tides. In designing the location,

@hinabaay ‘s goal was to create a fluid connection between the serene coastal landscape and the indoors. Warm tones, tactile fabrics, and sinuous forms keep one anchored in the moment.
Complementing the portfolio’s other villas in nature-rich Dutch destinations like Drenthe, Schoorl, and Lauwersoog, Elements Terschelling speaks to Dutchen’s core purpose: to restore a sense of vitality in guests through a fine balance of relaxation and adventure.
