It's the last few days to see Resilience! Eric J Garcia is an Albuquerque-based interdisciplinary artist known for creating politically charged art that reminds viewers of how historical moments affect contemporary issues. "The lithograph prints selected for this exhibition demonstrate [Garcia's] graphic style of mastering movement and action in his illustrations," says Curator Maria Cristina Tavera. Stop by before Saturday, May 16th to check out works from an incredible group of artists, all using print as a medium to push forward, amplify important messages, and to resist.
Artists featured include: Jamaal Barber, Eric J. Garcia, Ruthann Godollei, Ricardo Levins Morales, Narsiso Martinez, Piotr Szyhalski, Ericka Walker, and JustSeeds Artists’ Cooperative, alongside two walls of traditionally printed protest posters responding to the ICE occupation in Minnesota.

The show is on view through May 16. Plan your visit and spend some time with the works before it closes.

As Highpoint celebrates 25 years, we’re looking ahead, and investing in artists, educators, and the future of printmaking.
Press Forward is a campaign supporting three key initiatives: the Teaching Artist Learning Cohort (TALC), a paid program for early-career, Minnesota-based BIPOC artists developing their teaching practice, a new National Artist Residency that brings artists from across the country to Minneapolis for dedicated studio time and creative exchange, and Highpoint Editions, where artists are invited to collaborate with our team to develop new and exciting prints.
These programs expand access, support artists, and bring new voices into our community and the field.
