Friday night dinner at Tamatanga 🧡
If you’re looking for a fun, vibrant spot for Indian food right in Leicester city centre, this place is such a good shout. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is amazing, and the whole restaurant just has such a cool energy to it. Perfect for a casual dinner, date night, or catching up with friends.
The food came out super quickly, the service was fantastic from start to finish, and there were so many great options - especially if you’re vegan or gluten-free as they have separate menus for both 🙌
Here’s everything we ordered:

• Paneer Makhni with Garlic Naan

Everything was packed with flavour and perfect for sharing. We didn’t have room for dessert this time, but I’ve had desserts here on a previous visit and they were delicious!

Soulful nights + 2 for £13 cocktails at Turtle Bay 🌴🍹
If you’re looking for a night where the vibes just keep going, this is IT. From the amazing tunes to the indoor & outdoor seating, the atmosphere was honestly unmatched!
Their 2 for £13 cocktails make it impossible to choose because every option sounds so good 🍹 Our waitress Lauren was amazing and recommended the Bahama mama cocktail… and it did NOT disappoint! We also tried the Jamaican mule and the new pineapple daiquiri from the menu which was sooo good. On a previous visit we’ve also tried the strawberry daiquiri too which is definitely a winner every time.
One thing I loved was the small picky side plates because they’re perfect when you’re out for drinks and just want something to keep you going. The sweet potato fries & sweet corn fritters were both 10/10 😍
They even have dominoes on the tables which made the night even more fun 🎲
Whether it’s cocktails with the girls, date night, or just a spontaneous evening out, this spot is such a vibe. We’ll definitely be back soon because there were still so many things on the menu we wanted to try!
