From the first read, I saw my own life in it. The endless work grind. The late nights. Missed vacations. Cancelled plans. Always chasing what’s next, at the cost of what’s already here.
Time has taught me that achievements fade fast. But family, love, purpose, the joy I find at home with my wife and kid — that stays with you forever.
I love how the blackout becomes the pivotal point. He doesn’t stop because he wants to, he stops because life makes him. Force Majure. And in that pause, everything real comes rushing back. Family. Balance. Light. Even his next idea is born from play.
By the end, he’s still wrestling with that restless drive. And that’s ok. Growth is ongoing—one day at a time.
This film was a joy to make here at home in beautiful LA.
