Recording cold songs in cold Berlin is easy when you do it in a warm atmosphere.
Two weeks ago we were at @hiddenplanetstudio and it couldn’t have gone better. We recorded, mixed, and mastered ten songs plus three ambient tracks in five days.
Thanks to Jan (@grin_cult ) for being the most professional, patient cynic out there.
And thanks to Chris (@cwt.breuer /@zahn.band ) for providing us the most comfortable hostage.
The record slays and has become a black, rotten and slimy chunk of sludge. The vinyl/tape will be released this year by Alex (@iskandr_al_ithymia ) via @bhn_prod .

We’re thrilled to announce that a long-awaited reissue of our debut album “Revenant” is finally available for preorder. It wasn’t just GRIN’s first release, but also the very first release from our small indie label The Lasting Dose Records. Back then started as a small side project, “Revenant” was written and recorded by us in just two weeks, and is, thanks to its raw energy and gut-wrenching heaviness, still one of our best releases for many of you. The album is available in two different colors (Blue Curacao and Tequila Sunrise), each limited to 150 copies.
All tracks have been remastered by J. Oberg in 2025 at @hiddenplanetstudio
