Throughlines is an intimate event that invites three artists to each create a song based on a shared prompt, before they then perform it as part of a short set of original music.
Expect details on songwriting processes, back stories and works in progress as our artists share insight into what helps them write.

Throughlines 4. Thursday 12th February. 7:15pm. PAYF.
Moved house again. Nothing can stop me now. I will continue to move house, with increasing frequency, until Marie Kondo quakes in fear at my sheer lack of physical possessions, as my repeated and feverish trips to drop stuff off at the charity shop leave me with only a sleeping bag and tube of toothpaste for maximum moving efficiency. Does the tube of toothpaste spark joy? You better believe it - the tube of toothpaste is all I have left to remind me of who I am and where I've come from, in this new and glorious mobile future. I don't know if Buddhists believe in ghosts, but they better hope that they don't, as the spectre of the great Buddha himself will hang his head in shame when comparing our respective abilities to relinquish our attachment to worldly goods, and, thus, relinquish our attachments to our senses of self.
