Creativity in the wild needs to be encouraged because it’s so often suppressed and discouraged by cynical elders who think they know better about everything just because they too had a life, or peers who suppress to appease their own egos in the belief that it will somehow elevate them by comparison. To stand and show oneself creatively can be daunting for many of us, to put yourself out there to be judged can seem like an impossible ask. But if we are not here to show our true selves, to play, to experiment, and connect with others through all means—with creativity being a fantastic one—then what are we here for? Creativity is our greatest human asset, an abstraction that separates us from species that toil without self-reflection. These six people are among many wonderful folks who put themselves forward for our Bom Klakk Creative challenge, and they produced our favorite pieces of music from the glittering array of entries. So we’re very happy to share their music with you, and may you enjoy it as much as we do! I'm Very excited to welcome @_zei_gler_ as my guest for the third episode of my Radio Show "Codices" on @zabrijradio ! Zeigler and I met through the US festival Honcho Campout a few years back and have been keeping up musically ever since. He's delivered an hour of jazzy, funky, and dancefloor oriented musical magic for us this month, and my second hour will highlight some recent tracks I'm feeling that match the energy he's brought! It’s official the queer fronted NOT SO STRAIGHTFORWARD II is scheduled and in the books of 1/2/26 @303boards - the annex. This year we will be featuring over 20+ artists, we will be having live music from a local band (TBA) and a local legend @heylibuse on the decks/mixers. I'm excited to announce my new monthly radio show, "Codices" will be debuting on @zabrijradio next Saturday at 02:00AM in Zagreb //6:00PM here in Denver, with new episodes every second Saturday of the month ❤️‍🔥 Codices is a show about the magic that I have always found in electronic music and divided into two parts. First, you'll hear a DJ mix by myself or a guest centered sharing their own interpretation of that theme. Then, for the second hour, I will be narrating a "focused listening session" for further magical tracks that I don't always have a chance to highlight on the dancefloor 🌀 Many thanks to the team at @zabrijradio for having me on. I'm very excited to nurture this fledgling Denver - Zagreb connection with their kindred creative spirits 💫

Dropping the @honchopgh post on main this time because this festival means so much to me each year. This year I found the most meaning in our artistic community, seeing so many friends perform such wonderful sets to joyous & emphatically supportive queer crowds. I'm leaving feeling so inspired in my art after spending a week working to contribute to this wonderful queer community we build once a year in the Appalachian forest. I'm choosing to consciously ignore the voice in my head saying that posting such things is trite after four years of attendance - I'd much rather be genuine as part of my art! Happy to have a new entry in my "Računari" mix series out today! You can find it on my SoundCloud. Računari 2: "Four AM Fantasy" is a follow up to the first Računari mix which I released a few years ago. The original intent behind that mix was to showcase the growing range of music that I enjoy sharing with a dancefloor, and Računari 2 thus comes at a time when I am once again in a period of focused sonic expansion. Računari 2 is imbued with the intention & energy of my favorite hours to play to a dancefloor, during the hidden hours spanning late night into early morning. Time & individual boundaries dissolving into a collective & often frenetic whole. For those who have heard me perform recently, we start in familiar territory before moving into intensity, after which from therein we finally emerge into the bliss of dawn.
