We are so so excited to be landing in NYC and we hope that you can help us get the word out for our NYC debut! This will be a free event on a rooftop in East Williamsburg, right off the Montrose stop on the L. Exact location will be released the day before since this is a residential building.

In the first half, I go through slower favorites from Kokoroko, EMIL, Delegation, S!RENE, Hagan. Then I get into deep house pocket with classics, where I get to bring the energy up & play around with longer blends. Then back to some jazzy sounds to end where we started.

reminder that life will always return to bloom ❀
quit my tech job end of last year, and been navigating freelance life since. trying to find balance and rhythm between ux design work, djing, angelhaus, content, while also experiencing london & deepening my sense of community/place/home/self again.
but there’s something about may/spring where i’m reminded that life eventually balances out. all the months of feeling lost/confused/anxious eventually shows me that i was also planting/tending/nurturing/growing so much. so tho i still feel in the thick of the process, i’m also in a place of celebrating everything that has bloomed this season, especially all the supportive people/relationships in my life.

always trying something new with every arrangement, and this week’s was to play around with wired hyacinths and bending some grass for added whimsy & shape. found these beautiful dark calla lilies and purple anthuriums. love seeing the way each arrangement complements the albums played during @kevinthekiwi ’s @coffeeomakase session at @katsute100 ☕️🪻💿

@kevinthekiwi and I first visited @jujuhomecha@jujuhomestore a year ago, and we instantly thought how we’d love to do a set there. we loved the curations in the space, their team were so welcoming, and they were already playing music that we loved. this was before we started our angelhaus radio, so it was all just a floating idea. but since being back in london this year, juju has been another go-to neighborhood spot, and so lucky to get to know the owner na, along with their team andy, coral, jess, anna & more.
the radio shoot days are my favorite because we get to invite our friends who are also inspiring talented djs, and the day just naturally flows with great music and great company. many more thanks to come in another post hehe

In this episode, you’ll hear moody rnb with some afro-latin influences, featuring artists like Nobu Woods and Niels.
Nobu Woods is a Dominican-American artist bringing afro-latin elements like bachata into alt rnb and trap soul, while Niels is a French-Swiss artist who grew up across Paris and London, weaving multicultural influences like Latin and Afrobeats into his sound.
As someone who grew up across different cultures, that’s probably why I’m drawn to when global sounds meet rnb ♡

last weekend’s flower arrangement for @coffeeomakase ☕️🌷🎛️
to compliment the fruit tasting notes in the menu, such as the peaches and apples, I centered these beautiful anthuriums that had a pink/green colour, and one in red for that pop of colour. I’ve been wanting to play with amaranthus, and finally found these green ones to give the arrangement some extra character and height. I also reflexed some pink roses & tulips for a fuller look, and added fern as accent pieces that brought everything together.
then just in time, @kevinthekiwi and @levrsn finished putting together the vinyl hi-fi sound system at @katsute100 Broadway Market, and the entire vision for @coffeeomakase as a curated coffee tasting & listening experience all came together.

For this episode, we did a takeover at our favorite coffee spot @hour.london . I wanted to slow things down and play songs that give “hard chilling in your living room”. Smooth enough to make you nod along, but the occasional trap bass that makes you catch a stank face. You’ll hear different blends of baile x rnb x trap. In this first pocket, I play global baile sounds from @sango_ , @tuie_ , and @vhoorvictor , and some rnb edits from @onloveave , @djjuntanaka , @jarreauvandal .
