Utopian Exercises übersetzt gesellschaftliche Forderungen wie „don’t reproduce“, „stop unnecessary production“ und „degrowth“ in ein körperliches Trainingsprogramm. Die Skulptur erscheint als Fitnessapparat oder Transformationsmaschine, an dem nicht Muskeln, sondern kulturelle Paradigmen geübt werden: Reduktion als Absenkung, Degrowth als Kraftakt. Zwischen Disziplinierung und Selbstermächtigung wird Utopie hier nicht behauptet, sondern als wiederholbare Praxis inszeniert.

Entrance Hueber Hof. Alfred Chalousch and Heinrich Schopper Archidects. 1930-1931. I don’t know why but this geometry, proportions and patterns trigger something in me.
I finally have my copy of „Über das Neue“ in my hands. This incredible mega-project, to which I was invited to contribute, took place at Belvedere21 from April 23 to January 24. My thanks go to the curators, especially Christiane Erharter and Andrea Kopranovic. Thank you very much for your trust and the great cooperation.
