2nd appointment with a client who decided to come to me to help her grow her hair out, through flat twist styles, custom treatments, & trims. Her goal is to have her curls back. Shes experimented with color, keratin treatments, and different cutting styles. Now, she’s ready to focus on having a mane full of healthy curls. I used the smallest perm rods I have to help curl the ends of her hair, as they’re bone straight 😭. This helped keep her ends of her twist from unraveling and she can keep the style in for 2-3 weeks. [Recommended for 2 weeks.] Before applying the rubber band at the ends, I made sure the hair in the nape area wasn’t being pulled to avoid tightness, bumps, breakage, and potential thinning in that area. Being intentional with low-manipulation styles can truly benefit you 🤎
