I spent much of my life believing I needed to be bigger to be enough, especially in music. Every show or song was bent on proving my worth; it made creativity unbearable, turning expression into an audition instead of a source of joy. I see this struggle everywhere: in other creatives, in everyday conversations, even in the way someone inhales before they speak or sing. It took a lot of deep reflection to unlearn earning ‘enoughness;’ I’m grateful these days to practice a mindset rooted in curiosity, permission, and resilience.
We assume we’re alone in this feeling: we are not. More than ever, we need each other to navigate this ever-changing landscape of creation and self-expression, to forge a better balance between the demands of the world around us and the beacon of our inner compass.
I don’t often speak about my work as a voice and mindset coach but helping others in this work has brought me so much joy and inspiration. Discovering Compass Method Consulting and meeting the team felt like a bolt of lightning—Not only do I find out such a firm exists, but then I have the honor of contributing to its cause. I resonate deeply with Compass Method’s approach to helping artists, and I’m beyond grateful to be part of this life-changing team.
I know the weight of self-doubt and the feeling of not knowing what to do next intimately. There’s nothing more fulfilling to me than helping others clear that weight—trading hesitation for clarity, burnout for sustainability, and pressure for self-trust. I’m here to help you. :)

Over a year ago I released a heap of songs under my new project Elyp and pretty much went back into hiding right after the release. I did what most of us do and framed the release as the peak of the mountain. I felt so exhausted by the whole process that I didn’t keep pushing, the push required self belief and clarity that I didn’t have.
I’ve spent a long time trying to answer what this music is and who it’s for, finding myself overwhelmed by lacking an answer, but nonetheless still driven to write whenever I incessantly forget myself and need to remember and re-remember.
Thanks to talented and inspiring AZ kin @hyperbellaband I’ve been invited to bring out the sounds for a rare special night in LA and I’m thrilled to share this music with you. Some will come from the record, some are new new unreleased and I threw in a bit of rearrangement madness in the mix. I’m TRULY ECSTATIC for this show and will have some INCREDIBLE PLAYERS @ruslanpiano@ojedabass and @efajrmusic enabling catharsis. Please please come 🥹

My debut solo album ‘Proof I Exist’ is now available on all platforms.
I feel rather speechless but I’m so grateful these songs are no longer mine to hoard. I’ve been terrified to put myself out there for some time so I don’t take this day lightly.
