This year’s TV concert did not disappoint, in order: backing @andrewbirdmusic@gavinbrivik and @alanshampton on a lovely song from The Pitt (and a beautiful clip from rehearsal); 2 clips from a stunning piece by @finneas and @pjcartwright for the latest season of Beef; snippet from @cbaconmusic ’s imposing score for the show Wednesday; an emotional section of the score from the John Candy doc; the bass section of which I am incredibly lucky to contribute to; some assorted other pics. Throwback: on a gig (in 2018??) with an incredible Persian artist @saranaeini_official in Tulsa, OK, playing an old @markguiliana tune from his project Heernt with my absolute BRO @andrewjamesboyle … what a confluence of elements! (Playing with Sara was truly a highlight of my career, unbelievably cool experience.)
