Not long ago we had a wish garden!✨ 🌱 Our students at Winn Montessori Elementary School became guardians over a garden plot that hadn’t been nurtured in some time. 🌱 Our students saw an opportunity to bring it to life with their positive wishes and year long dedication. 🌱 The teachers as well as the parents saw the students growing into garden designers, florists, botanists, herbalist and caregivers of the insects and animals. 🌱 As this school like many in Austin will close this year, as will many of our programs due to funding cuts and education layoffs; yet we are still reminded that our children will go on and plant their own seeds, creating their own gardens and someday educating their own students. 🌱 The new year brings many new changes, one thing remains the same; our dedication to our young leaders. This year has brought many challenges, but also provided us with the new opportunities to cherish more memories to come. 🌱 I am filled with much gratitude for the teachers and enchanted guardians that created this published offering for our communities to learn from. 💚 Thank you endlessly and always @spicygobou
