It’s been a week since #dreamstage and I haven’t stopped thinking about it nor have I stopped rewatching back the videos. Meeting MONSTA X is something I dreamed about since I was 14. Never in my life would I have thought I’d be dancing with the same inspirations that got me to start dancing last January, and if you told me I’d be dancing with my role-models a year and a half from now I wouldn’t believe you 🥲. My dance journey hasn’t been very long and I feel like I’ve accomplished so much in a short amount of time from where I started. Jooheon has been my idol since day one and I remember seeing him perform with so much energy and passion that I wanted to be just like him. I can’t help but think that he would be so proud of me and how much I’ve evolved and grown as an individual and a dancer, and it’s because of him and MONSTA X that I’ve been given opportunities and have met and worked with so many talented and amazing people that have helped me grow as a performer. I truly have never felt happier in my life, I can’t wait to see what kind of performer I will be in 5 years from now, and I hope I’ll be just as good as @joohoneywalker . 2025 🌗 ——— this year was so incredible… i feel so elated looking back at the projects I was part of this year and it makes me feel so proud and happy. From my journey from DVC to Davis I’ve met so many incredible individuals through dance and design that I’m grateful to call my friends. Dance was something I felt hopeful about at the beginning of the year, it felt very new and foreign to me (in a way it still is) but I was so excited to see what opportunities would present itself to me this year. I got to perform with my idol(s) that inspired me to start dancing at the beginning of 2024 on the same stage at KCON LA, which was a very surreal experience—one that I will never forget. I got to work with incredible dancers at K-pop-Up this year through different covers and performances in the Bay Area. I was a guest choreographer for the DVC Fall Dance Production after being a dancer in it for two semesters. I also auditioned and got in to MK Modern at UC Davis and competed in my first dance competition! There’s so many other wins that I want to celebrate this year through design and dance, but overall I’m just so proud of my growth as a performer and individual. I’ve never felt more passionate about something in my life, and it makes me so excited to wonder how much more I can accomplish. My two year mark of when I started dancing is coming up and it’s a reminder of the people that uplifted, gave me guidance, and taught me their love for dance and music that I’ve been able to take it as my own, grow, and share it with others. I’m so thankful for all the people I’ve met and worked with this year, you have and are the reason I am the way I am, words can’t express my heart. Thank you to my friends who have supported me this year, your kindness and energy means the world to me. I’m so excited to see what this new year has in store. I hope I can continue to make you proud. (I’m sorry if I couldn’t include you in this post I still love you all very much, ty for reading all the way down to here muah)

2024 🌘 ——— it really goes beyond words to describe how transformative 2024 has been for me. i cant describe how truly grateful I feel for the opportunities that l’ve been given to explore so many new experiences and to have met such wonderful and inspiring people during my time at DVC this year. dance and singing were both journeys that i began at the beginning of 2024, and through them l’ve fallen in love with the arts and crossed paths with people that I’m thankful to call my friends and who have filled my heart with so much happiness. i never imagined myself to be performing in front of people, but it’s something i’ve grown to love and yearn to continue doing. i love sharing my voice and passion for dance with others and connecting with them and I’m so excited to see where this journey will take me as i continue to improve and grow as a singer and dancer. this has also been such a remarkable year for me as someone who wants to pursue UX design as I was finally able to create my first UX design project with people that share the same passion and desire to help find solutions for real-world problems like me. UX design has deepened my understanding with the world around me and how I can help make experiences more meaningful, enjoyable, and convenient for people and I’m so excited to explore new solutions in the future that can create lasting positive impacts on people’s lives through thoughtful, user-centered design. this year, I also completed a passion project that I worked incredibly hard on: a card game called “FEEL IT!” which I designed and crafted entirely on my own over the course of 5-6 months. this game holds a deep personal significance to me, and I hope to one day turn it into a business and bring people together and strengthens friendships, just as it has done for me in the past. overall 2024 has been such an accomplishing year for me, and I’m so proud of myself and the hard work that I’ve put into me and my work. i have never felt more gratified, happy, and confident about anything else in my life, and I’m so excited to see where this journey will take me in 2025.
