Friends! Strangers! Lovers! All!
Join us for another Indigo Community Dye Day in Big Sur.
Hosted on the Summer Solstice, this is an immersive afternoon of indigo dyeing, community engagement, and textile renewal.
Rooted in sustainability and slow craft, this gathering invites you to bring well-loved garments back to life through the transformative process of natural indigo dyeing. Faded whites, stained linens, sun-worn cottons, and forgotten pieces are all welcome, honoring the beauty of reimagining what already exists.
Together, we’ll explore the art of indigo dyeing in community: layering color, texture, and process into garments that carry history, memory, and everyday use. Every piece emerges entirely one of a kind!
No experience necessary, simply bring natural fiber clothing or textiles you’d like to renew and a few items below.
