My favorite room in our Nantucket project. @npagestudio ceramic pendants hang above a large white oak table surrounded by vintage wood and rush dining chairs from @morentz_gallery . A @roeethridge photograph sits alongside vintage plates we found at @maisonpelican . The dining area flows into a bar that abuts the sunset porch. There's a large pass-through window that's flung open all summer. Photos: @maxb.photo

It’s been almost exactly a year since I left Daniel Romualdez to start my own interiors firm. When I left DRA, I’d already lined up my first project: a shingled family compound a dozen steps from Cisco Beach in Nantucket. For a few months, I ferried back and forth to the island with pillows, artwork, bar stools, candle sticks and everthing in between to ensure the family could move in in time for peak season. When the clients went home at the end of the summer I enlisted @maxb.photo to document my first project at HB Studio. To keep costs down, I convinced my mom to spend a week there as my "assistant." The shoot was a barebones operation–no stylists or assistants or catering–but Max is a consummate professional, and he got the shots and then some. A friend forwarded a photo I’d taken during the shoot to @alevasseur1 . Somehow, she was interested in a young interiors firm that was still getting its footing. Ever since, I’ve been holding my breath until the piece dropped so that I can finally share images of my first solo project. Thank you Alison and the team at @archdigest for your encouragement, and to @davidfoxley for masterfully describing the fun chaos of designing a family compound. I am beyond honored. Thank you to the best collaborators @vicenteburin and @hanleydevelopment . Link in bio. Honored to have had the opportunity to collaborate with @gregoryrockwell on this beautiful home. Thank you Greg, @hesteriah and, of course, @palomija for giving me a shot! You guys managed to create something (almost) as beautiful as Paloma. A few photos of my favorite rooms: a bathroom inspired by a luxury Italian train car, and kitchen fit for a supermodel.

Two bunk rooms were designed for maximum guest capacity in our Nantucket project. The guest house bunks are washed in Benjamin Moore Silver Blue with bedding by @teklafabrics . The lower level bunk room has a light well giving daylight to the basement bedroom. The gingham quilts are from @ash.world and the chair is vintage from @portmanteau.nyc . Photos: @maxb.photo

The chicest Paris home of @toryburch is the last project I worked on with Daniel Romualdez. I am incredibly honored to have worked on this project, and grateful to have learned from a remarkable team of collaborators. Seeing these photos is bittersweet. Time to find a new opportunity to go back to Paris. Thank you for the opportunity, Daniel Romualdez! @toryburch @feauboiseries @voguemagazine
