Last Monday’s Celebration for the Arts hosted by Jeromy Farkas, was such a lovely and memorable evening 💛
Virginia Sparvier-Wells and I received the Rozsa Foundation Emerging Arts Manager Award as part of the 2026 Cultural Leaders Legacy Arts Awards.
This award celebrates emerging arts managers committed to supporting and advancing the work of Calgary’s artists, collectives, and arts organizations, and being a recipient means a great deal to me at this point in my career. It feels like a meaningful affirmation of the direction I’ve been growing toward alongside an expanding team, as we rethink what education programming can look like both inside and beyond the gallery space while Contemporary Calgary moves toward a larger transformation.
A big thank you to my colleagues at
@contemporarycalgary for your support, collaboration, trust, and care over the years. I feel very lucky to be part of this team.
Thank you as well to all the artists, educators, collaborators, and students I’ve had the chance to work with and learn from.
And thank you to the Campus Calgary / Open Minds team
@yycccom for your support and mentorship.
To my friends and family — thank you for continuing to support and encourage me.
And last but not least, thank you to Rozsa Foundation
@rozsafoundation and Calgary Arts Development
@calgaryartsdev for this recognition and encouragement to keep going in this field.
🥳✨A huge congratulations to all of the recipients of the 2026 Cultural Leaders Legacy Arts Awards!
Very grateful! 🌱
