A crazy awesome day getting to be the “Guest Coach” for the first @texasfootball game of the season with @agatascoot . It was an honorary thing and I was lucky to do it. (No one is asking my thoughts on offensive strategy)
One of the best parts was getting to see so many students from my classes. On the field, in the stands, all over the place. You wouldn’t believe how much work, planning and grit goes into the operation on game day.
Getting to be a small part of it was truly something awesome. Talking with @steve.sarkisian was a highlight. He’s a stand up guy with impeccable style.
It was loud, it was intense and it was the best start to the season you could ask for. Everyone showed up ready.

The theme was 90’s and I already had the outfit. Peep that sweet cat / moon / unicorn t-shirt. But seriously, this was a blast and they do grow up crazy fast.
First week back for the Fall semester at The University of Texas at Austin. I’ve already had some crazy smart conversations with my students and I’m super excited for what’s coming.
The next few months are gonna be great.
