Los invitamos a disfrutar de ésta extraordinaria producción que dará inicio con un listening session del soundtrack original “Viento de Navajas” compuesto por Jorge Reyes y culminará con una charla con su director, Jorge Prior, sobre esta distopía restaurada.
Una historia de ciencia ficción tecno-prehispánica en la que, tras la destrucción de la Ciudad de México, tres personajes emprenden un viaje hacia los cuatro puntos cardinales en busca del mítico Aztlán. Su objetivo: encontrar “El Ombligo de la Luna”, el centro de todo. Un viaje mítico en un tiempo incierto, en el México perdido, para encontrar el origen y empezar algo nuevo.
Filmada después del terremoto de 1985, El Ombligo de la Luna es un vestigio audiovisual de una Ciudad de México devastada por el desastre: una cápsula de tiempo entrelazada por ficción, mito y memoria.

Our true offering is not a wedding veil but the idea that true meaning only exists through change and renewal. It’s the temporality of things what keeps them everlasting. We use veils as a medium to explore transformation and repurposing. Constantly experimenting, we honour this pursuit by relentlessly searching for different interpretations of our product and its meaning.
