It feels good to be TRUSTED!!
I’m grateful to work for an organization that trusts me to amplify the movement of reproductive justice.
Creating, planning and organizing
@sistersong_woc “Kentucky Homecoming Week” was my love offering to my state. Last year I filed for
@sistersong_woc to have their own day in Louisville, Kentucky when we opened our office. Since the opening I KNEW the 1 year anniversary had to show the impact SisterSong has had.
Whether you fell in love with TRUST BLACK WOMEN, birth justice, our beautiful office, you all have welcomed the work we do and amplified the message. As we are in a time where women’s reproductive rights are on the line, what better time to encourage voting and celebrate ??!
This past Thursday night,
@justmikethepoet @ummsugarae @kendra.says showed their trust in me and sat down for a conversation about policy, community organizing, love, health & wealth. Thank you for giving the city an experience they’ll never forget. Thank you for showing up authentically and passionately about this work.
The work continues and this week was intentionally curated to build collective power.
Did you feel it?
What will you do with it?
The TIME IS NOW!
I vote for freedom to have the right to choose to have a child and NOT have a child!
I vote for my daughter’s reproductive freedom!
I vote for the individuals who cannot!
I vote for my ancestors that never had the opportunity.
I vote because I want to continue to do this work!!!
I vote because I care!!
And now I ask you to ground yourself in understanding your vote is for the most marginalized individual and communities in this country who deserve to be free and liberated from oppressive systems and policies.
Do you TRUST ME? Then show up & vote like you do!!
Special thank you to
