Shake and bake! 🏎️ 🏁
One of the most unique trails I’ve ever been on: Occoneechee State Park in Hillsborough, NC.
It’s an old stock car racetrack set in the woods where bootleggers used to run moonshine during prohibition! It was the second NASCAR track ever built, after Daytona. Gorgeous setting, with the original concrete bleachers, a section of the Eno River running through it, and vintage signs and relics like the concession stand and ticket booth. Learned a little bit of NASCAR history from the didactic panels, too.

My first away game to cheer on the @kccurrent . So happy to be there with great friends. I definitely missed hearing the 🚂 whistle after our 2 goals.
Every time I visit @operationbreakthrough , I’m inspired by the devotion of the staff, the resilience of the children, and the dedication of the volunteers.
