Excited to officially share the HeLeads Workshop Series schedule for Summer 2026!
HeLeads Workshop, established by @kansascity.connection , is a free basketball initiative that uses the power of sport to help elementary school boys build leadership skills, teamwork, and emotional intelligence.
Each workshop includes a basketball clinic, mindfulness session (@thrivemovement_wellness and @aimwell_yoga ), empowerment panel + activity, and nutrition to go.
We’re also excited to offer free skill development workouts this year with Coach Steve Dulley @b1gbasketballclub on June 10th and July 8th, providing OBT boys access to quality basketball training.
Middle school and high school students interested in leadership opportunities are encouraged to get involved through ambassador roles as well.

The OB Tigers flag football team had an amazing time at Media Day! Our young athletes got a behind-the-scenes look into the world of sports media through team and individual photos, plus interviews that introduced them to the many roles that help make the game possible. 🏈
