What a whirlwind year 2023 has been, with so many highs and ending on such a low. But the consistent source of joy and light for us has been our collaborators. Starting off the year with a prescient Mindfulness workshop with
@hellochoiling . Then our Tea Producer, Farmer and Chefs came from Japan to host series of tea and craft workshops for Nari Japan Fest (hint hint keep your eyes peeled tomorrow for this years announcement), including hosting the Hojicha Tea Latte Art Competition with
@kaffaroastery and
@helsinkicoffeeweek . We saw our Pet Nat Kombucha at our favorite spots around the city, like
@k_u_l_t_t_u_u_r_i_s_a_u_n_an and
@murasaki_saki_ . We spent quality time with our tea farmers in Yunnan, and with our friends at
@chaxartxams exploring the cliffs of Fujian.
We also launched our Sundown Social Club series, our tea at night alternative space pairing unlimited tea with music workshops and events in collaboration with our friends. This started with the amazing Otto and
@pajuh.works doing an improvised sonic journey, following the wonderful
@dorothyza hosting a Tarot Workshop and guided Cacao ceremony, an amazing Body workshop with
@kailanimathur that ended up expanding the mind with thoughtful practices, concluding with a meditative audio visual experience by
@oonasaede and
@urs.nicely that peacefully wrapped up the series.
Other highlights include Bowl tea with
@tarmoluonnossa , a tea ceremony as well as a talk at the
@designmuseo_fi with
@helsinki_cm , taking part in and winning the Moutai Cocktail Competition 2023. A huge highlight was seeing our frequent tea/tea cocktail and food collaborator
@karppi_kitchen opening their own restaurant to rave reviews. We also collaborated many times with the talented
@hgqunguyen ,starting with his delicious pineapple cakes and culminating with a curated Autumn Tea and Tea Snack experience.
We can’t thank you all enough for all the amazing memories we created together and we look forward to more in the next year.
