Stepping away from the bustling New York City January performance season, Beth Gill has joined us here in Tallahassee for a MANCC residency in partnership with the Artist Communities Alliance, and Howard Gilman + Mertz Gilmore for NYC-Based Dance Pilot Consortium Program. Beth has graced the MANCC space several times over the years, and we are honored to be a part of the beginning chapters of her new work "FREAK:FUNK". She will be joined by dancer/collaborators Joyce Edwards, Chloe Engel, Laurel Atwell, Molly Ross, Dominica Greene, and longtime music composition partner Jon Moniaci.

Me and my grandmother Lucy Palladino. She passed away Tuesday night peacefully having lived 101 amazing, beautiful years. She lived through the Great Depression and World War II. She loved her family fiercely and modeled for us how to live with grace and integrity in an ever changing world. I was blessed to have her in my life for so long. Mia Nonna...I am yours and you are mine.
