Hello… you may (or may not!) have noticed I’ve been quiet around here for some time, the last year has been somewhat challenging to say the least, after going back to college to study ceramics for two years I graduated only to have surgery for breast cancer three days later. After a long nine months of treatment, and a family bereavement, I’m finally starting to find my footing and slowly getting back into my practice again, albeit having to adapt to new physical limitations, let’s hope these will ease over time. To all those who helped me through those monotonous months a massive thank you - you know who you are!
In the last few months I’ve started on the work exchange programme
@thekilnrooms who’ve been wonderfully supportive, and given me the time to explore my relationship with clay again whilst learning the ins and outs of working in a productive studio.
I was invited to become a graduate member of
@design_nationuk and have some exciting things lined up later in the year with them.
And last, but certainly not least I’m honoured to have been selected to exhibit my work
@futureiconsselects from 15-21 May at 83 Rivington Street, London as part of this years
@londoncraftweek - you’ll be hearing much more about this shortly!
