“At first I wasn’t interested in construction or the trades. But coming to I Built This and trying new things at the station rotations with industry partners opened my eyes to new opportunities. It gave me a whole new outlook on my future.”
She got to experience it herself: real tools, real skills, real people showing what construction actually involves.
No pressure. Just trying something new.
Her message to students everywhere:

Important CTE Program Update – Thursday, February 12th
Warrensville Heights High School will be closed on Thursday, February 12th for a Staff Professional Development Day.
As a result, there will be no CTE classes held at Warrensville Heights High School on this date.
However, this closure applies only to Warrensville Heights High School.
Students who attend CTE programs at the following locations are still expected to report:
Cleveland Heights High School Cleveland Heights High School
Shaker Heights High School Shaker Heights High School
Maple Heights High School Maple Heights High School
MAGNET (Manufacturing) MAGNET
Auburn Career Center – Fire/EMT Program Auburn Career Center
Transportation will follow normal schedules for students attending these off-site programs.

Maple Heights, Warrensville Heights, Auburn Career Center, and MAGNET are CLOSED today due to weather.
Students from these districts and programs will not attend CTE classes.
CTE classes at Shaker Heights are CANCELLED today due to transportation issues.
CTE at Cleveland Heights will run as normal.
