6th.
The Paris 2024 Olympics have concluded, marking the end of my second Olympic Games. While I initially felt conflicted about the outcome, upon reflection, thereās much to be proud of. Although I didnāt achieve the medal I believed was within reach, the performance I delivered represents the culmination of three years of hard work and the redemption Iāve sought since Tokyo 2021.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have competed in such an iconic venue. Itās rare for open water swimming to receive the attention that Paris 2024 provided. Despite the concerns about water quality leading up to the event, I commend Paris for making it their Olympic legacy to clean up the Seine, setting a powerful precedent for other nations to follow. To have raced in the flagship event for the games is something I will cherish forever.
The last year has been the most successful of my career so far, winning a World championship medal for Britain, the first in Olympic distance for 13 years. Momentum is behind me, this is just the beginning.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout my career.
Exciting things ahead.

Golfo Aranci chronicles š®š¹
P5 secured and a ticket punched to this summerās European Championships in Paris š«š·
Less than 100 days of work left before we line up in the Seine once again.
Big months ahead. Locked in

Quick catch up.
Iāve been a little quiet on here the past few months, so hereās where things have been at.
Started the year out on an altitude camp, feeling strong, but picked up a viral fatigue as soon as I got back to sea level. That meant a big step back in training for a while and a shift in focus to recovery.
Now fully back, training consistently again and building momentum. It did mean stepping away from a few races, including the Egypt World Cup and British Champs, but it was the right call long term.
Back on the start line this Friday in Golfo Aranci for World Cup #3. Excited to race again and keep building from here.
Big summer ahead with some exciting racing, plus a swim challenge coming soon that I canāt wait to share.
Weāre just getting started.

A late post, but before Christmas and 2026, a moment to reflect on two awards Iām incredibly proud of.
BBC Green Athlete of the Year 2025 š and @aquatics_gb Award for Contribution to Social Impact. Recognition that means a great deal.
Thank you to @surfersagainstsewage for supporting the 3 Lakes Journey and the Thames River Relay Swim. Swimming has always been about more than racing the clock, and these challenges gave me some of my most meaningful memories in the water this summer.
These may be individual awards, but in open water we never swim alone. The current is stronger when we move together, and in protecting our planet, weāre all swimming the same course.
Thank you.
I am not a cold-water dip kind of person⦠but December decided otherwise. šš„¶
Iām used to drinking hot chocolate to fuel long swims, not to recover from a 3 degree plunge. Nice change, slightly terrifying, 10 out of 10 would not rush to repeat without a @dryrobe
Winter swimming is a different sport. If youāve mastered cold water, Iām listening. Any tips welcome.
