More on-screen magic with @heckbrewing and the amazing @hollywoodtheatr ✨🎞️📽️🎬🎭 When the fine folks at Heck tapped us to design their on-screen ad, we knew immediately that we wanted to draw inspiration from the incredible architectural details of this storied building. A true sanctuary of cinema. Its Spanish Revival/Byzantine style is so over the top and ornate…we just can’t help but love it.

In the last few weeks, you may have noticed the price of Heck has dropped slightly, especially in local grocery stores like New Seasons and Market of Choice. Over a year in, and we’re now brewing enough Heck regularly enough that our costs have dropped, and because we’ve committed to being independent and running our own distribution, we can pass that on to you. This is big deal for us, and a huge milestone for our fast growing lil NA brewery, so we asked @tokyonegi if he’d paint a grocery sign announcing our new lower price, inspired by his @grocerysigns project. We love it!! When the Laurelhurst Theatre offered us an on-screen ad spot after they started serving our Gentle Persuasion Golden, we decided we wanted to do something a little special for it, so we hired local designers StarKeep Studio to produce this beautiful one-of-a-kind risograph print! The original illustration is inspired by the art deco architecture and the shapes on their iconic neon marquee sign, which we then printed on Barbara the Riso at @outletpdx , then scanned to use as the ad artwork. We absolutely love it! It also means a lot for us to go the extra mile and make something really special for one of our favorite local indie theaters. The ad started running this week, keep your eyes peeled for it! The best airport in the country just got even better! Our non-alcoholic Silver Linings IPA is now available at Grassa PDX! Gotta admit, this one’s kind of a big deal for us! Portland has long had the best airport in the U.S. (fight us) and with the addition of our beautiful new terminal building, it’s now also one of the most architecturally breathtaking public spaces in the country. We genuinely couldn’t be more thrilled that folks traveling through PDX can now enjoy a locally made non-alcoholic craft beer, our signature west-coast style Silver Linings IPA no less! As long-time patrons and supporters of the Hollywood Theatre, we have to admit, it was a big deal for us when they started offering our non-alcoholic Silver Linings IPA at their concessions last year. We’ve spent many a late night posted up at Kung Fu Theatre, ruining ourselves at their annual All Night Horror Movie Marathons, and getting in line several hours early to get the good seats for a 70mm screening of 2001: A Space Odyssey. And now to be able to share our craft non-alcoholic brews with our friends and neighbors (and of course order it when we’re there ourselves!), we couldn’t be more thrilled! Not only is The Hollywood one of the best independent movie theaters in the country, but it’s also a beloved Portland institution, a vital community resource, and a lovingly preserved piece of architectural and film history. We’re very lucky to have it!
