What began as a typical early-2000s stone-and-stucco residence has been reimagined into a bold architectural statement that has been turning heads and inviting thousands to walk its halls. This transformative remodel took a home with great bones and elevated it into an awe-inspiring design that blends moody textures with timeless materials.
Gone are the heavy rooflines and dated boring interiors—replaced with sleek black slate, expansive glazing, and an elevated living. Every space has been reconsidered. Every detail, refined. From the dramatic new facade to the masterfully crafted interiors and serene gardens, the house is now a true showpiece of what a HOME can become.
This isn’t just a renovation—it’s a rebirth. A once-forgotten home, now one of the most captivating residences in the region. And this is just one part of the transformation. More to come.
As a design team, we cannot express our gratitude enough to @sawyerhemsley for the amazing opportunity to work with you and for opening your home as part of the @uvparade of homes. A huge thank you to all of the tradespeople who worked on this! Your countless hours of worked are what made this transformation possible.

Life is too short not to create spaces that make you feel something.. and that’s what makes it worth living.
Design feels like the most honest interpretation of someone’s life. The colors, the textures, the tiles, the finishes, the artwork.. every detail says something. It tells a story without needing words.
Life is short, and I think there’s something really special about choosing to see beauty in everything. Romanticizing the big moments, the small moments, and everything in between.
I feel so lucky to have worked on this project with so many insanely talented people. And the truth is.. when you build something, it’s never really done. You’re always adding, changing, rearranging. And that’s what makes it so meaningful. Things aren’t meant to stay the same. Every season of life looks a little different, and I love that.
Moving into my home has been one of those experiences. There’s so much I already loved, and even after tweaking a few areas, I love it even more now.
Create spaces you’re excited to wake up in. Fill your life with things that feel like you. And don’t be afraid to evolve it as you grow. 🤍
A HALLWAY WITH A SECRET.. 🚪
I wanted every inch of this house to feel intentional.. not just beautiful, but felt.
I kept thinking about all the places that have inspired me over the years.. the spaces that made me stop, look around, and feel something. I wanted to bring little pieces of that magic home with me.
So what looks like a simple wood-paneled hallway.. isn’t so simple.
Hidden right inside it is a secret door that leads to one of my favorite spaces in the house.. a bathroom inspired by a speakeasy I stumbled into in New York City. Moody tones, playful tile, unique artwork, and a frilly chandelier hanging above an oval sink that just makes the whole room feel alive.
It’s unexpected, a little dramatic, and honestly just fun.
Those are the details I care about most.. the ones that surprise you, make you smile, and turn a house into something way more personal.
Introducing Rolling Oaks - set within the quiet rise of Floridian pastures, this estate unfolds as a series of gabled pavilions surrounded by century old oak groves. Long rooflines, sheltered courtyards, and a deliberate horizontal presence root the architecture deeply in the land it belongs to.
It’s the last weekend of the St George Parade of Homes! Come experience The New West for yourself and feel what makes this home special.
