Our Bakehouse Oven Fund on Hotplate is live (link in bio)! Thanks to your incredible support over the last five years, our cottage bakery has officially outgrown our home kitchen. We are thrilled to share that we are building a dedicated bakehouse to increase our production and efficiency, allowing us to bring even more artisan bread and baked goods to our community, pop-up events and neighborhood farmers markets. The Goal To make this dream a reality, we need to purchase a professional bread oven. As the heart of our new bakehouse, this essential piece of equipment will allow us to bake with the consistency and volume that our growing community deserves. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to fund the purchase and installation of this oven. Heart in Hand Bread Gratitude Tiers To thank you for helping us lay this foundation, we’ve created several ways to get involved: The First Rise ($10) Digital recognition on our social media "Wall of Hearts” & Bakehouse vinyl sticker. The Golden Crust ($25) Digital recognition on our "Wall of Hearts", a Bakehouse vinyl sticker & special edition Bakehouse T-shirt. Bread & Butter ($50) Your name inscribed on our "Founding Supporter" plaque + a special edition Bakehouse T-shirt & a custom sweet treat. The Perfect Proof ($100) Your name inscribed on our "Founding Supporter" plaque + a loaf of your choice for six months. Rise-With-Us ($250) Your name on our "Founding Supporter" plaque + a custom baking class for up to four people. The Hearth & Soul ($500) Your name on our "Founding Supporter" plaque + a private pizza party for 10 people. The Baker’s Circle ($1,000) Permanent Gold Patron signage in the bakehouse, a Bakehouse T-shirt, a private pizza party for 10, and a monthly loaf of your choice for one year. You can also make a contribution of ANY size via our Venmo (jwchase). Every dollar brings us one step closer to firing up the new oven and sharing the simple joy of fresh bread with even more of our neighbors. Please share this post with the bread lovers in your life. UPDATE😊 ❤️Final day for our Bakehouse Oven Fund❤️ Thanks to EVERYONE for your generous contributions, lovely words of support and weekly orders! Your responses and kindness have been overwhelming and we are truly grateful for YOU! What’s next? We are going to go buy an oven-wahoo!!! Hoping to finish getting the Bakehouse ready for equipment move-in next week and then start baking. So excited! 5/8 Friday Porch Pick Up Preorder Menu opens tomorrow morning. Hi! We decided to keep Porch Pick Ups to Friday for the next few weeks until the Bakehouse is up & running. I’ll post later today for a progress update! The Bakehouse Oven Fund wraps up on Tue 5/5. So exciting & your support is amazing! We will be putting your packages for mailing/distribution later this week. Look for an email soon with more details. Oh yeah! Thinking about the weekend menu & making that Asparagus & Shallot Focaccia again. It sold out fast & thought it would be nice for weekend plans. Also? Cake for the win! We are offering a sweet, mini-sheet cake for this Friday (photos soon) and then will add “Just Because” cakes to the menu on a regular basis. Thanks for the positive feedback!
