New FREE Max MIDI Effect out now! Paraphonic MIDI allows you to mimic paraphonic synths with polyphonic ones, by re-triggering all held MIDI notes every time you play a new one. This creates the illusion of having a shared single voice architecture on multiple oscillators, while keeping all of the other benefits of your polyphonic synths.
As a bonus, I added 2 other re-trigger modes, which do a lot more than just mimic paraphonic synths. Choose between having note ons (default), note offs, or both re-trigger the held MIDI.

Weird Quantizer 1.1 MIDI Transform device is out now! I added a new "Amount" parameter. This controls the quantization amount and fades between unquantized and quantized rhythms. This allows for even more wonky rhythm variation than the device's polyrhythmic quantization grids offered before!

Just released a new Max for Live device called ReChord. It's a more modulatable version of Ableton's Chord device that allows you to modulate and change chords while they are being held. It's basically 6 of my Repitch devices stacked together! Here I'm modulating each note of a 6 note chord with different ranges of an LFO. I'm keeping everything in time with the built in quantizer and everything in key with a scale device after it set to a pentatonic scale. Then playing single notes into the device to change the range of the modulated chords. Get the device on my site! Link in bio!

Note Map allows you to map your MIDI notes to any parameter in Live in a way that's more musical than existing methods like Expression Control. It's more like 1v/oct CV on an analogue or modular synth when mapped to pitched parameters like Transpose. Set the range of the parameter you're mapping to and Note Map automatically maps the corresponding keys around the root you set to the parameter.

The pitch of the input MIDI shown up top is being modulated by @ableton live's LFO device and then running through their Scale device to keep everything in key. The quantizer and speed limiter are keeping the modulation from getting too intense, until I turn them off and audio rate MIDI modulation begins...

My new free Max for Live device Repitch is out now! It's a twist on Ableton's Pitch MIDI effect where when you change the pitch it changes all held MIDI right away instead of wait for the next note, allowing for a ton of new modulation possibilities. Here I'm holding a chord and then modulating the device to rhythmically change the pitch.
