After a well-deserved Christmas break, @lordsgroup is back on track and ramping up resources to ensure the timely completion of Bathers, Collaroy. Progress is moving forward, with the intricate façade work now extending across all elevations, building upon what was started on Alexander Street. Interior work is also progressing smoothly, including floor levelling, floorboard installation, and joinery on levels one and two. Earlier this month, HCAP and Lords Group visited @AndreasensGreen Wholesale Nursery to review procurement and delivery processes for the project. With over 150 acres of production across NSW and Queensland, Andreasons is a leading supplier in the industry. Exciting progress has been made at the Bathers Collaroy project since the last update. A great milestone was achieved with the completion of all internal and external framing for both buildings, as well as the successful installation of the substation. The delivery team has also completed the internal services rough-in on all levels. With the rough-in and internal framing now complete, the focus is now on external cladding, plasterboard sheeting, and internal waterproofing. Additionally, the installation of the feature façade window shrouds is underway. The roof installation is now complete, and we have started applying the waterproofing membrane to the concrete roof elements, ensuring durability and longevity. We are thrilled to celebrate a significant milestone in the construction journey of our landmark project, Bathers Collaroy. The building structure has achieved topping out, marking a pivotal milestone as we draw closer to the completion of this landmark development. We are delighted to share the great progress being made at our Bathers, Collaroy project. Since our last update, Level 2 construction activities have commenced, with the first pour on the northern building now complete. @lordsgroup , our appointed builder on the project, has completed the installation of formwork, structural steel, and in situ services. Additionally, the post-tension cables have been installed. The onsite team has also made significant strides in establishing the site hoarding. The hoarding on Collaroy street has been successfully completed, and the hoarding on Alexander Street will soon follow, with Lords coordinating an Ausgrid outage to ensure safe installation next to the power-line. This is a critical step to ensure the safety of our site personnel while allowing us to complete the hoarding by the end of this month. We are excited to share that the construction process at our Bathers site is progressing with strong momentum, and we have reached a significant milestone. The tower crane installation has been safely completed by @ActiveCraneHire , and we can't help but feel awed by its presence gracing the Northern Beaches skyline.⠀ ⠀ Prior to the crane installation, a complex shoring and earthworks phase in challenging sand and water table ground conditions was undertaken, while also executing a concurrent sewer diversion.
