Fifty years ago, a bold idea took root in Summit County: Protect this place we call home. Today, we're asking you to help that mission continue. Your support fuels local solutions for waste reduction, resource conservation, and climate action right here in our mountain community. ♻️
Early donations for Colorado Gives Day are now live! 🎉 Now through Tuesday, December 9th, your donation goes twice as far.
As local climate impacts like wildfires and droughts intensify, your support is critical. Your gift will ensure the we keep protecting the mountains, rivers, and community we love. 💚

Hi there! We’re High Country Conservation Center—HC3 for short 👋
We’ve seen some new faces around here, we thought it might be time for a little introduction! We are Summit County's local environmental nonprofit that focuses on creating practical solutions for local resource conservation here in our mountain community.
If you've ever spotted signs showing what goes in your recycling bin, visited the community garden, or composted your food scraps, you’ve already seen us in action.♻
Our programs tackle everything from waste reduction and energy efficiency to climate action and sustainable food systems. Basically, if it’s green, we’re all about it!
Our mission? Protect this place we all love through local, boots-on-the-ground action. Want to get involved? Now’s the perfect time! Hit the link in bio to see how you can be part of the solution.
Big shoutout to our awesome local partners like @breckenridgemtn and @keystone_resort who help make our work possible and share the same awesome goals of protecting our home mountains.
