Last Friday, May 31st,
@kccrowmaddux and I had the painful experience of saying goodbye to our little soulmate Is. We received the unfortunate news that she developed an aggressive form of cancer that moved fast and only showed signs when it was too late. We take comfort in knowing that our little perfect ball of fluff lived her life to the fullest and got to experience so much love and adventure with us. We will miss her so much. She was loud, chaotic, demanding, quiet on set, chill on a plane, sweet with kids, mad at rats, loved bedtime, literally down for anything and was our perfect little monster.
We would not have had Is without
@allieavital finding her on the streets of Gowanus when she was wild, ducking between cars, scared and covered in trash. Allie gave here three baths, sent us a photo and we instantly fell in love. For that we cannot thank Allie enough. ❤️
We are so grateful for our family, friends, and friends at work, for all your love, support, and comfort this week. Thank you for helping us pull through, for all the hugs, company, food, and for listening. ❤️
And a huge thank you to
@story_syndicate for being so dog-loving and letting Is come to work everyday. We are so grateful. Thank you for all the extra time with Is and the treats. ❤️
Here are some of our favorite photos/videos— hard to pick just 10. If you have any, please send my way. I will be posting more on my stories, especially of her epic jumps, thanks to
@kingofkatie !
Much love to you all, and much love to my little Is. I will love you forever.
