There are many tough decisions in life, but I have to say this is one of the most difficult ones I have ever heard any have. I clearly need a new pair of trainers, as I am fed up of walking around in circles with a limp, but I can't find any I like as much as my current trusted pair...so I'm wanting to buy the same again. The slight issue is the price for a new pair in my size is €11480.90, which is more than I thought they would be, definitely more than they were two years ago. So...do I just bloody do it and whack it on the credit card so I can walk around with horrific debt yet a spring in my step...or I just keep wearing these until they properly disintegrate and then just go barefooted for the rest of my life? Or do a crowdfunder? Help!

IMPORTANT STORY PART 1: I was grabbing some snacks from the little store next to where we were staying in Seoul when I looked down and saw these dogs in their little red booties and the owner holding a fresh netted bag of Babybel. Using the small bit of Korean I'd picked up on our travels, I said to the owner "Did your small companion here leave any of the cheese for you?" and before he could answer "for clarity I am not calling your dog fat, I am just making a joke about the cheese". He looked at me slightly confused "What do you mean cheese?". I said, again as best I could in my rudimentary state "Well, the cheese within the Babybel's you hold so dear. I was making a joke that your dogs shoes look just like the iconic Babybel red wax covering". "Cheese? In here?" He pointed to the Babybel's. "Yes of course, you are holding Babybel cheese" I said, now me slightly confused. The shopkeeper asked us to take our conversation outside as the place was filling up and one of the dogs was licking the chocolate bar wrappers on the bottom row of the chocolate bar shelf. When outside he presented me one of the Babybel's and said "Where is the cheese you talk of". By this point I thought I was being made a fool of, but played along anyway as best not to make a scene in foreign lands. I took one of the small red wheels from his sac, tore the little red bit of paper and unsheathed the cheese just like I was nine years old on the riverbanks of the Tarka Trail again. I pushed the rubbery puck into the palm of my hand and then, for effect, put the whole thing into my mouth and gobbled it down. He was in shock. The double dog owner told me that in South Korea, Babybel is purely purchased and used for the red wax covering, that they use to mould around their small dogs feet to use as shoes to protect them from the harsh capitalist terrain. "What do you do with the cheese?!" I asked, with cheese stuck to my oesophagus. "We just put it in the bin" he said, looking slightly solemn.

Next week Spectres are putting on an exhibition/series of events at Centrespace Gallery in Bristol, looking back at ten years since we released our deboo reckid. These include us playing the album in full, trying to get a load of Youth to cover an anti-fascist song and potentially killing the band via a durational performance. If in town, come on down!

Is there a way we can check this violinist is ok? Being forced to play 'Smell My Finger' with Mick Hucknall in front of thousands is quite harrowing.
