TENNESSEE SUMMER NUTRITION INITIATIVE (TSNI):
🔻 fed only 18,000 kids across 15 counties
🔻 failed to reach our most food insecure counties
🔻 cost the state about $3 million to administer but reached less than 4% of eligible children
Summer EBT is more cost effective and reaches more food insecure children. So why won’t we say yes?
We asked our legislators this question today. We ask you to do the same!
Call your legislators and ask them to VOTE YES for HB1835/SB1911 and keep Summer EBT in Tennessee for good.

A platter of fried chicken is on the cover of Family Thai, Bringing the Flavors of Thailand Home that just debuted this week. There’s actually a town in Thailand called Hatyai that is known for this iconic Southern fried star; a dish synonymous to Nashville. So since there is a little taste of Tennessee in Thailand, the question is now… can we do a bit of Thailand in Tennessee? We say yes!!! Hattie B’s Hot Chicken and International Market… what a flavor explosion. We may be on to something here.
