I shot my first ever gas gun match at @thegasgunshow hosted by @hillcountryprecisionmatches and had a blast! Nathan's course of fire was challenging for sure. I enjoyed getting to learn a new platform and turning on the speed.
@caliberprecisionteam - I couldn't ask for a better team to spend an afternoon with. We did a lot more laughing than shooting!
@caples_precision was a huge help in getting my gun up and running smooth. I had 0 malfunctions and the 6GT was super consistent all day.
I tried as hard as I could to channel everything @saving_ryans_privatez has ever taught me and managed 4th place overall.
I am also happy to report that I did not trip or fall over at any point in the match 🤣
@wilderness_athlete the Energy and Focus packets were clutch today!

2026 Magnolia Madness PRS Pro Series Qualifier. Stage 5 : PRS Barricade. I had a blast at this match and came out with a ton of lessons learned. The trip to @gunlineshooting is absolutely worth it!
Wanted to talk about @crosswinddynamics and @hatavis new app, quick dope. I had been using only my kestrel for every match, I tried other ballistic solvers, but the interface was confusing and took to long to get used to, so I always went back to my kestrel, just wasting tons of time before stages with getting my dope ready and imputing the wind, and I was getting tired of it. I had saw quick dope came out earlier this week and I was interested and I was messing with it, and decided a good test would be at a match. So @shootgravestone match rolls around, and after a full match I can say that this is what I’m going to be running for now on, it’s so easy to use, it took 5 minutes to input all 9 stages, making wind brackets is so easy, and my dope was spot on all day. I was able to spend much more time on glass, and that helped my perform better.
Can’t say enough good about it, if you’re interested I highly recommend it!
