As a teacher at CIA : Culinary Institute of America in Singapore ! Was Teaching “松花堂弁当:SHOKADO BENTO” menu inspired by season /February. 🍱 Making Bento need all techniques/ skills 🧠 Knowledge of culture and season 👁️ Eyes : choose right ingredients 🧂recipes 🔪 cutting skill 🥘simmering 🍤 fries 🥓grill 🐟 sashimi’s skill 🥢decoration of dish make as ART Very short program 3days at school. Nothing worry about recipes but “ teaching Young American students….” Whisking myself before start it.The more I wrote down what I wanted to teach them, the more I felt the depth of Japanese culture. I believe that the menu I created with the theme of the beginning of spring “立春”has surely caused little flowers of spring to bloom within them. @hashidatokyo_sushi @hashida.sg
