On September 29, we can look forward to a double dose of electric bass action: Claire Cross and her duo partner Harry Cook on piano, both based in Berlin, as well as Leipzig local Philipp Martin in Die Andacht, joined by Markus Rom on electric guitar.

Back in Berlin now after a magical couple of weeks in residence at the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia with @clairecrossbass .
Highlights include midsommer-bright midnight hikes along the coast, performances at the centre including a surprise gig accompanying the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir, a (quick) swim in the Baltic, and the song festival featuring thousands of voices. We both feel incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to spend time at the centre and the amazing and welcoming community there, and we’re looking forward to sharing some of the music we’ve been developing.
One week down at the magnificent @arvopartcentre - one more to go of our residency! It’s such an amazing space to work in, and inspiring community to be surrounded by. 📸 of our lovely concert today, with a warm, attentive audience. ✨ Claire Cross Duo: Claire Cross (E-Bass) und Harry Cook (Piano) verschmelzen Neoklassik und Jazz zu intimen, fließenden Klanglandschaften. Ihr gefeiertes Debütalbum Dialect (2023) und Einflüsse von Künstler:innen wie Nils Frahm und Skúli Sverrisson machen ihre Musik zu einem emotionalen Erlebnis.
✨ Duo Zamorano & Stamer: Finn Stamer (Violine, Hardangerfiedel) und Martín Zamorano (Piano, Rhodes) kombinieren nordische und keltische Volksmusik mit Jazz-Elementen.
