Guitarist Hilary Geddes has been earmarked as a rising star on the Aussie scene. A few years back, she recorded her debut album with ABC Jazz, and has since gone on to work alongside leaders such as Zela Margossian and Jeremy Rose. Geddes and her quartet recently returned to the studio to record their second album, and it's another evocative date entitled 'Redleaf'.

Applications for the @melbjazzfestival 's First Nations Artist Residency program are open for 2026! This ground-breaking initiative has been running for five years now, and is held in partnership with the @australianartorchestra and Songlines Music Aboriginal Corportation, offering career development opportunities for First Nations musicians.
