In July, I quit my part time job to devote myself fully to training and teaching people Brazilian jiu jitsu. It’s been a long 8 years full of doubts and thoughts of quitting to make it here. But we got here. My heart is all gratitude to God.
This year, I didn’t enter as many competitions compared to previous years, but the time away from competition has brought many blessings to my life that mean more than medals.
Most of you are only here for my BJJ journey, but this year was also special on a personal level. I proposed to the woman I love, I couldn’t be more grateful for how Amy helps me grow and for the journey we continue to build together. I am thankful for where God continues to lead us.
Huge thanks to my loving family and friends. My team mates who have helped me grow everyday in training. Special mentions to Jeff and Naomi, Scramble brand, Grapple hub, Pete Robson. All my 1-1s who believe in my work enough to ask me to teach them.
Excited for the challenges of 2025🙏🏽❤️
@harry.falljj fought through a grueling back and forth match to come away with the last minute sub!
Props to both competitors for putting on a show.
