Just wrapped an incredible time at the 41st Santa Barbara International Film Festival with #Keelhaul 🏴‍☠️ We shot this film in a garage on a shoestring budget, and seeing it premiere at SBIFF is a reminder of why I love making indie films with friends. Grateful to every single person who showed up and made this happen - this is what it’s all about. 2026 is shaping up to be massive for @vesperiafilms - multiple projects heading into release, deep in post on others, and cameras rolling on new productions. Couldn’t do any of it without all my friends and partners who believe in the work and show up ready to create. Let’s keep making movies. 🎬

Tokyo - USA - Canada summer: sweat-soaked, sleep-deprived, entirely worth it. fell in love. found a home. produced a friends brilliant short film starring Dean Norris, and ended summer picture locking my first feature @tightlettuce.film lately, to be honest, I have been really stressed out with everything going on— but, building dreams with my friends at @VesperiaFilms makes it all worth it. Oh! And I had the chance to creative direct some new projects! 😎 it’s been cool… Developing myself and work across three countries, three film cultures, three entirely different ways of seeing the world. Japan/USA/Canada. It’s chaos and it’s magic. I’m lucky the universe keeps handing me this wild, impossible life and I keep saying yes to these unique experiences. I’m so grateful, to say the least. Cheers to betting on yourself, taking big swings, and pursuing things your heart desires. Summer 2025 is over, and another season begins.
