This sustainably designed coastal home embraces natural light, timber textures, and energy-efficient design, creating a space that’s both timeless and resilient.
With a focus on using local trades, suppliers, and materials wherever possible, the build supports our community while keeping the carbon footprint low.

The Cape House
Sitting quietly within the Cape Patterson landscape, this home embraces generous coastal vistas. The Vic Ash shiplap cladding gives its natural softness against the landscape, while the north-facing glazing and passive solar design let the light do most of the work.
A low maintenance home that emphasises on functional space within a small footprint.

Heart of the home at The Narrows Residence.
Filled with soft light, warm textures and a calming material palette, this kitchen was one worth revisiting.
Revisiting our Coastline Residence.
Designed to embrace natural light at every turn, this project pairs soft textures with an organic material palette to create a space that feels warm and connected to its surroundings. Featuring @jameshardieau Axon cladding and Oyster Limestone from @limestoneaustralia , the natural finishes add depth, character and a relaxed coastal feel throughout the home.
Built within the award-winning @liveatthecape in Cape Patterson, Coastline Residence also achieves a 7.5-star energy rating — an eco-conscious home designed for modern coastal living.

What are the top 3 skills you need in your job?
Organisation, clear communication, and a strong eye for detail… with a bit of patience thrown in for good measure.
What were you doing before joining Harris Build?
Working for another residential builder, supporting projects from early planning through to delivery.
What part of a project do you enjoy most?
Seeing a project through to handover and watching the entire journey come together. Getting to know each client along the way makes it a really personal experience—one I genuinely enjoy and love seeing unfold (and handing over the keys at the end is always a pretty special moment).

Designed to feel connected to its surroundings, the materials do the talking here, creating a home that feels both grounded and refined.
