I grew up watching her videos in my room, getting every dance move down to the best of my ability, singing, crying and dancing, trying so hard to just luminate even 5% of the light she shines onto this world. I used her music blasting in my headphones as the bullies said whatever they wanted to me in the playground, as I kick stepped and spun with her music blasting in my ears… helping me escape to another world, a safe world, a world of freedom! This one’s for my queers and people stepping out into this world being nothing less than who they truly are, loud, proud, and turning heads by using fashion as their weapon to invoke change, conversation and hope!

‘The way we live our lives is very bold,’ says fashion designer Harris Reed (@harris_reed ), whose London flat features on our April 2026 cover, ‘We’re unapologetic about who we are. I don’t think anything I’ve ever done has been tame, so why would my home be?’ Much like his apartment’s decoration, which features opulent textiles, Murano lighting and silk wallcoverings, Harris’s high-octane life beyond its walls is anything but dull. In 2022, at just 26 years old, he became creative director of Parisian fashion house Nina Ricci (@ninaricci ), and his eponymous label is favoured by the likes of Harry Styles, Emma Corrin and Beyoncé. This year marks his first foray into interiors with a sumptuous range of wall coverings, cushions and throws for Fromental (@fromentaldesign ). He’s also toying with the idea of designing furniture and lighting. “I love creating things that last,” he says. “I’m just scraping the surface.”
