We often receive questions about when the next book may be coming out.
While we are working on new projects behind the scenes, we are excited to share:

I am so grateful to my friend and magnificent art consultant and mentor, Carrie Scott, for her heartfelt tribute to Harold and his work. She truly captures his beauty as an artist, teacher and human being. Thank you @carriescottcurates for your eloquent words and ongoing support and inspiration. I urge others to check out what Carrie’s up to @watchseenart . Brilliant! Here’s what she said in her post. I vividly recall the moment I met Judith Thompson, the love of @haroldfeinstein ’s life and Director of his Trust, shortly after his passing in 2015. Our connection, facilitated by the exceptional director @theandydunn who was making a documentary about Harold’s life, was immediately rooted in our a shared love of Harold’s imagery.
Over the past 9 years, I’ve realised that Judith’s unwavering dedication isn’t just about showcasing Harold’s photographs—it’s about preserving his legacy and sharing the profound impact his work has had on countless souls.
And in my opinion - after a lot of soul searching as to why I love it so much - this work deserves a place in every collector’s portfolio. And with prints priced at around $6,000, it’s an investment that’s still within reach—for now. But mark my words, this long-overlooked photographer’s star is on the rise once again.

To mark the release of two newly authorised estate prints from the @haroldfeinstein Trust—Boardwalk Sheet Music, Boy with Sunglasses, and Beach Montage—we’re offering a limited 14-day discount of 14% across all estate prints.
Boardwalk Sheet Music was the first estate print ever released by the Harold Feinstein Trust as it is one of Harold Feinstein’s most celebrated compositions: long sold out, widely published, and previously available only to a small group of collectors. The original signed editions have been unavailable for years. And the estate print is now down to the final stretch: only 5 prints remain in the edition, and just one is left at the £3,850 tier.
The other two are priced at £2,700 for the first 5 editions.
Estate-authorised print is issued in a strictly limited, tiered edition of 15. Prices increase as the edition sells out.
❤️ Comment LOVE and we will DM you the links. And use the code “love” at checkout for the discount!❤️
The question of who decides what becomes an estate print has long been debated. Critic A.D. Coleman has argued that estate printing must honour the artist’s own intentions, not later tastes. In Feinstein’s case, that intent is unusually clear. He reviewed his archive obsessively, circled images he loved, and actively guided what he wanted printed. The works selected for this release are images he had already printed himself—many of which are now completely sold out in signed editions. These are not retrospective choices we have made arbitrarily. They belong squarely within Feinstein’s own understanding of his work. Each image has been chosen with the utmost care.

“Longing for Freedom, 1970”
“The war of an artist with his society is a lover’s war, and he does, at his best, what lovers do, which is to reveal the beloved to himself and, with that revelation, to make freedom real.” -James Baldwin

“Fun Slide Composition, 1970”

This image is a combination of three different frames, making up one fun composition of the “Fun Slide” in Coney Island!
Harold had an eye for skillfully combining multiple frames in the dark room to create the final image, as seen in some of his most famous shots.

“Smoke Break, 1952”
From Harold’s “Army Draftee / Korean War” series
“In 1952 I was drafted into the infantry to serve in Korea. While I’d hoped to be listed as a photographer, it was a blessing that I wasn’t. Had I been official, I would have been commanded to photograph medal presentations and officer’s ceremonies. Instead, I carried my camera around with me all the time – during basic training, on the troop ship, and in Korean villages. My attempt in this series was to capture the humanity of all involved and find beauty and comraderie in the midst of tragedy.”
