Little lost for words to express how grateful I am to have shot a live concert for my all-time favorite band, @kingskaleidoscope MODERN PSALMS is a beautiful reimagining of some of my favorite songs that convey the intimate moments of walking through life in faith. Jonah & Elsa I had the honor to be in one of my longest friend’s wedding this past summer, and it was so beautiful. I’ve known Jonah since we were 14, it was pretty surreal getting to be by his side on such a special day. Here’s some fun 35mm pics I got of the two.

Go to the link in the bio to watch and please share it with your family and friends :) Now if you’ll permit me to get a little sappy, this project has seriously been such a huge milestone in my life. It represents countless hours of work poured in by @emma_of_everywhere , @poyinsham , and I, as well as our 130+ people Cast & Crew. This film represents the love and appreciation I have for my family back home who have so consistently supported me thus far in my film endeavors. It represents the adoration I have for film and music in general and how I genuinely believe they’re such strong tools that can bring friends and family together. It represents a lovely ending to my college career, and what has been a lovely beginning to life and work post-grad. This past year I’ve been able to start, complete, and start again on so many fun new film projects, and A Lovely Ending equipped me so well to take those new stories on. The process to make this film taught me perseverance in a new way, and I hope the affirmation it’s received in festivals and programs like the College Television Awards is a motivation for all my cast & crew to keep on persevering to tell loads of new stories. The people you see in these photos are some of the hardest working and most talented artists that went to my school. I am extremely spoiled to of had their hearts invested into this project. If you scroll all the way to the last picture, you’ll see one of the first pre-production meetings we had with our composer @jason_rhue over two years ago in a college dorm with the story outlined on the whiteboard behind us. That picture is a lot of what is filmmaking to me: throwing ideas at the wall and dreaming up with your friends how to make them come to life. Whelp, we did it. We brought these crazy ideas to life. Some moments from the “Up a Level” music video I got to direct with Chad Gardner for @kingskaleidoscope ! This song has such vibrant energy, coming up with visuals to capture it all was a treat. Shoutout to all the drummers who came through to a freezing warehouse short notice and played their hearts out. Also this was my first Kings project I got to bring some friends onto the crew for, and they absolutely killed it.
