@alovelyending.musical is out now!
This project started as a little dream my sophomore year and has since snowballed, two and a half years later, into a crazy, 26-minute, 130+ crew and cast-sized film about the end of the world, family, and friends who feel like family. It still overwhelms me to think about it sometimes.
Emma, Jonny - you both are crazy and silly and genuine and the biggest dreamers, and I hope you both know that itās really hard to say no to you two. Thanks for letting me produce for you two goofs. Elisha - thank you for trusting me, you are kind and care deeply and you brought us to a completely different world in the best way possible. Analei, Connaly - logistics are cool and all, and you two make it the coolest! Thanks for your encouragement and support and initiative.
Trust is very important to me, and I am unbelievably grateful for the trust I have received throughout this from those around me - Iāve grown into more confidence and learned to speak up not just for others but for myself because of it. Thank you to an incredible crew and cast that has trusted myself and this team over and over again, lent your time and talents, and persevered. Somewhere out there are probably some over-the-top statistics of the many hours put into production meetings, script revisions, rehearsals, location scouts, recording sessions, and test screenings, but nothing compared to the overwhelming love and grace poured onto us from the very beginning, even until now. What an absolutely wild journey.
As a last note - Iāve learned that it takes not just a crew and a cast, but also everyone else, a support system, around them too to make something like this happen. Thereās a ton of people that have cared for me, made me lunch, made me laugh, given me the best advice, and pushed me to take care of myself so that I can best take care of the people on this project. And to those people, you know who you are - thank you, this oneās for you.
