My entry for @melxartz ‘s dtiys! 🌌✨🤍 I started working on this a month ago and only got the courage to finish it recently 🥲 I’m very happy I managed to finish it though, as it was a goal of mine to finish a drawing this month 🫶

Reminiscing the past with this redraw of my drawing from 2020 (swipe to see the old version!) ~
I started drawing digitally 2years before I made that drawing (so, in 2018), by doing 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘵 𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘵𝘴.
I used to incorporate avatars onto anime-style backgrounds (that I found on Pinterest) and little by little, started painting over the face of my avatars.. (I didn’t have a graphic tablet or a stylus so I had to use my fingers lol)
Until I got bold enough to paint everything from scratch
That drawing was my first full body character illustration and I remember being proud of how it came out haha
Now looking back at it, I can say I’ve come a long way!
I’m very grateful for all of the support that I’ve had and continue to have (:
I’m happy I can finally dive into painting minimal backgrounds hehe :D I hope this little 𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘱 (dw I don’t take myself that seriously, I just find that expression funny) can inspire someone to look back on a past creation and be happy with how far they have come (:

Strolling
I didn’t expect anything of this drawing and yet I managed to finish it and give it a background! I’m quite happy with how it turned out
Also, this is my first time drawing a car (I know it’s not a full one lol) and I have discovered that drawing the wheel rims is not the most fun thing to draw 😆 (especially when in perspective…)
